Port Protection
Closing off a dock housing HIVs ( High Interest Vessels ) is extremely simple. The boom is simply fixed across the mouth of the dock.
Security cordon
With the use of a boat mounted system a boom can be rapidly deployed around a ship providing a security cordon to keep potential boat IEDs away from the vessel. Corner anchors are simply placed and connected to the floating boom.
Waterway blockade
For events and conventions, the lightweight easily-transported booms can temporarily close off a waterway at short notice and without the need for expensive fixed infrastructure.
