Marcus Alden, Lieutenant Commander, U.S. Coast Guard (Retired), President, 7 P Solutions

Mr. Alden was raised in the small town of Milton-Freewater, Oregon just 11 miles south west of Walla Walla, Washington.   He joined the United States Coast Guard in 1984 at the age of 17 planning to serve a four year tour and pursue other opportunities. 28 years later, he retired from the Coast Guard on 01 October 2025 while serving his final assignment as the first active duty Operations Officer of Maritime Force Protection Unit Bangor.

Captain Manny Aschemeyer, President, Cap'n Manny & Associates

Cap’n Manny’s career ashore has been successful.  He’s served as Port Captain/Operations Manager, Freight Traffic Manager,  Fleet Manager, and District Director for several major steamship companies;  he’s been Vice President of sales, marketing and public affairs for one of the largest stevedoring and terminal operating contractors in America; and he retired in 2008 after 15 years of service as Executive Director at the Marine Exchange for Southern California  – where he was responsible for monitoring and facilitating all ship traffic that moves in and out of the ports of Los Angeles, Long Beach, San Diego, Santa Monica Bay, Santa Catalina Island, and Oxnard Harbor (Port Hueneme).  And he established the first -- and only – private sector VTS in the USA.

Candice Wright was born and raised in Southern California and has been in law enforcement for over twenty five years. In her capacity as a police detective Ms. Wright has worked complex transnational narcotics cases both as an investigator and in an undercover capacity.  For the past 9 years, Detective Wright has been assigned to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Joint Terrorism Task Force (JTTF), assigned to the Critical Infrastructure Protection Squad.
