S-VIDIA: Security Video Digital Platform (SVDP)

S-VIDIA’s game-changing Security Video Digital Platform (SVDP) was designed solely for the purpose of security and deriving forensic-quality evidence.

Powerful and versatile, it can be used in operations of virtually any scale where the quality of live and recorded video is mission critical. Embedded with SVDP and fitted with the highest quality components, S-VIDIA’s security video servers represent the very best on the market and can act as stand-alone units, or as part of an unlimited linked array. No other product can match the data transfer rates between storage and processors while providing video displays at uninhibited speeds.

Flexible Delta Compression (FDC)

At the core of the SVDP is S-VIDIA’s proprietary Flexible Delta Compression algorithm. This revolutionary compression method is intended strictly for security video applications. Behind this complex work of math and programming is a simple principle, "save only what is important." FDC does this by separating the static or irrelevant background from the important dynamic foreground which includes people, vehicles, and other motion events. The background is saved less frequently and at variable quality than the foreground. This greatly reduces video database size and increases video search speed. Every parameter of FDC is controllable, thus enabling security professionals to fine tune their system to yield the greatest quality while gaining optimal image compression.

Hyper Sensitive Motion Detection (HSMD)

Motion detection in an S-VIDIA security video server is analyzed and derived from uncompressed signals before being compressed with FDC. This means that if the camera sees motion, the server will sense and record it. Sensitivity is as low as 4 x 4 pixels, meaning on a two megapixel image, the system can recognize changes within thousands of motion detection blocks.

Smart Motion Search

S-VIDIA servers store all video information in FDC format. Due to the use of small delta frames, motion search is quick and effective even when searching through days of video information. Users highlight an area of the initial frame and the system only looks for changes within those boundaries. S-VIDIA servers can search at rates upwards of 1000 frames per second – fastest in the industry - yielding timely results when time is of utmost importance.

Powerful Hardware

S-VIDIA 7 Series hybrid, high-performance security video servers feature up to 480 recorded frames per second and support up to 16 cameras per server. Megapixel and IP cameras are displayed and recorded at full camera signal resolution alongside analog cameras (which do not require any additional encoders). Only S-VIDIA servers deliver Motion JPEG quality at a fraction of H.264 bandwidth.

Server Software Features:
•Records IP signal at source resolution up to 10 Megapixels per video channel. Analog video can be recorded at CIF, 2CIF, or 4CIF.
•Server software analyzes motion prior-to-compression for greater accuracy (PTC).
•Uses the proven, highly effective, flexible delta software compression method (FDC).
•Isolates video noise caused by CCTV cameras to reduce data size, while increasing image quality and detail.
•View and record video from IP, megapixel, and analog cameras in native resolution.
•All outgoing streaming video is passed through 128-Bit Encryption for video data security and integrity.
•RAM is not used to store video; unexpected shutdowns will not cause lost video data.
•Video encryption key changes intermittently to ensure secure video transmission to clients.
•Due to PTC, prior recording is not necessary.  Motion recording is trigger-sensitive to changes within a 4x4 pixel block.
•All cameras are synchronized on live view and database search/playback.
•Create virtual motion trigger-zones for integration and block out irrelevant, unwanted motion.
•The system can record based on visual object size. Small moving objects can be ignored.
•Uses intelligent resource management to control outgoing FPS and bandwidth to maintain system, network, and video stream stability.
•Supports up to 16 parallel remote or local monitoring connections.
•Create up to 16 users for system administrators and limited access user accounts.
•Integrate with I/O devices such as alarm panels, sensors, automated homes, etc. via R-CAD™. Extra hardware required.
•Multiple record settings: on motion, on trigger, constant, scheduled, and/or interval.
•Recorded video can be set to recycle or stop at full storage.
•Automatic database back up can be used to store video on external local or remote storage.
•System scheduler can be used to set system alerts, recording schedules, camera configuration schedules, and system events.
•Notification of any system change can be sent via email.
•System logs keep all server changes on file.

Unique Remote Client Features:
•View up to 16 cameras remotely over the Internet or local network.
•Built in Pan-Tilt-Zoom control. Control up to 16 PTZ cameras from each individual camera view. Simply click where you want to view.
•Search by Time/Date and Fast video database motion search. Upwards of 1000fps search speed.
•All cameras are synchronized on live view and database search/playback.
•Alter server settings via an administrator account.
•High quality image printing from database.
•On-Top Monitor™ displays any camera layout in small window on your Microsoft Windows® desktop.
•All server features and controls which do no pertain to database structure are open to remote administrator accounts.
•User interface is identical to Server Software for ease of use and transition.
•Record incoming video to database file onto local hard drive.

Unique Remote Multi-Client Features:
•View up to 32 cameras on single display.
•Connect to an unlimited number of S-VIDIA Security Video Servers.
